DEEP PANUKE DEVELOPMENT, completed ahead of schedule.

We have successfully completed the full scope of work ahead of schedule. This has enabled our customer to bring forward their delivery date to Nova Scotia, Canada; a distinct advantage bearing in mind the weather was a critical factor for delivery. M&A - Expansion & Relocation

Ground-works have now started on the new M&A Engineering Ltd building project.

Approximately 45,000 Tonnes of soil/sub-soil/stone has to be mechanically handled during the ground-works stage. We have added a page to show development news on the Project page (link here).

M&A have won the on-site machining contract for the modification of buckle arrestor pipes for the EnCana project; Deep Panuke Development, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Services will include Controlled Hydraulic Bolting, True Mechanical Surveying; and, In-Situ Machining.

New Contract in OMAN

M&A have recently won a contract in the Sultanate of OMAN, for a 'Total Joint Integrity' requirement.

(De-Tensioning, In-Situ Machining if required, and Controlled Joint Closure)

'MV Wind'

M&A Engineering were asked to assist 'Northwestern Shiprepairers' in a repair of the pin locations for the forward Jack-Up legs on the 'MV Wind'. The existing locations for the locking pins were found to be worn. Northwestern Shiprepairers were tasked with cutting out the existing plates and welding in new sections at each of the three locations on the forward, port & starboard legs. M&A accurately positioned and machined the pin locations of each leg. For full details please visit the Projects section. ....

ADIPEC - Abu Dhabi

We have just returned from an eventful ADIPEC Oil & Gas exhibition in Abu Dhabi. We contributed to the Welsh constituency stand at this huge Middle East exhibition, and wish to thank International Business Wales for their support on this very worthwhile event.

Chevron Refinery - Shutdown

We have recently, successfully completed an in-situ machining contract at Chevron Refinery, Pembroke, UK.

Our BS EN ISO 9001:2000 assessment is scheduled with Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) for the end of October. A little later than we had planned for, but an exciting time for us none the less.
