M & A Engineering have undertaken the rudder bore machining repair on the Grande Francia, at A&P’s yard in Falmouth, England.

Each section of the modular boring bar is fitted with an optical target; thus ensuring true alignment to the datum and eliminating any catenary between the boring bar supporting bearings.
