new building - M&A launches new heavy shop facilities following new HQ opening

M&A Engineering Ltd - Re-location & Development Progress Page

We have completed the first phase of our expansion and re-location project.

Obviously we are excited about this expansion program and thought it would be a good idea to show our valued customers the development progress as things happen. This new venture has already allowed us to offer a broader and better service to our clients. In the meantime, we will add some progress pictures with some progress comments.

The first phase of development included the design and build of a bespoke building which has allowed us to offer a much more elaborate in-house machining capacity; along with a much bigger physical preparation capacity for our in-situ machining service. Our new office and workshop isapproximately 10,000 sq ft, and the workshop area is serviced by a 10 Ton; twin beam overhead crane with a 6 metre lift capacity.

Full access for loading and unloading of a 45ft trailer can easily be accommodated within the workshop.

This large development building will be set within 2 acres of land, which will allow adequate further area for our second phase expansion which will occur within 1 - 2 years after completion of the first phase.

Workshop Foundations - THE FIRST POUR! (and blimey, did it pour)

'West Haven Construction' has been awarded a significant part of all construction works.
Complements go to their team who have continued excellent progress under very inclement
weather conditions.

This shows the foundations and steel stanchion pads. These pads
show the template frameworks for ensuring the large bolts are pre-placed accurately before
the concrete is poured. Some of these pads required 6 cubic metres of concrete each!
